Chicago’s hardest-working blues band, Howard & The White Boys are seasoned road warriors, playing an average of 200 gigs per year throughout the U.S. and Europe. Favorites of Buddy Guy, they have served as his opening act on several tours and perform regularly at his Chicago club Legends, where he often joins them on stage. On The Big Score, their Evidence debut and third CD overall, Guy even adds powerful vocals and stinging guitar on a duet with vocalist/bassist Howard McCullum on the classic Sam & Dave hit, I Thank You. In 1995, their career received a major boost when they first toured with Guy and won the “National Blues Talent Search” sponsored by influential Long Beach, CA., radio station KLON.
