COUSIN JOE bad luck blues
Bridging traditional and postwar blues, as well as jazz and R&B, the music of New Orleans native, Cousin Joe, has influenced generations of blues and jazz musicians. This disc, recorded in France in 1971, features a new version of his 1947 classic “Bad Luck Blues”, which evolved into the well-known blues classic “Born Under A Bad Sign.” Cousin Joe is backed by a superb band, including guitarists, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown and Jimmy Dawkins.
