Evidence Music, Inc. is proud to announce the February, 2005 CD reissue of singer/songwriter Essra Mohawk's 1995 release, "Raindance." The Evidence release of "Raindance," originally released on Schoolkids Records, includes a bonus track, "Wrong Religion." The album features Essra's tough, forceful singing voice on 13 tracks, including her own verison of "Stronger Than The Wind," which Essra wrote and had already been recorded by Tina Turner serveral years earlier.Essra had written a strong set of songs putting a unique twist on the universal themes of peace, love and understanding. At the time of its release, "Raindance" was her first recording in ten years following her 1985 release "E Turn." "Raindance" contained some of the strongest material of her career.
